Here are pictures from the very poor mountain villages. Clothing and many other donated items are being distributed in these villages and at the clinics in these areas.
Lesotho has an estimated population of 2.2 million.
There are over 150,000 orphans in Lesotho.
A majority of the orphans are a result of the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
Many orphans are living in the extremely poor, rural mountain areas. Some of these children are raised by extended family members, neighbors, or older siblings. Others are fending for themselves, living alone among the villagers.
I am Keeli Muscha - wife to Miles and mom, mama, & mommy to my beautiful girls Bailey and Josephine. Our dogs Ellie and Winston are always with us too, filling our house with hair and sweet love. We currently live in Miles City, MT.
